Tree Lighting

Went to a Christmas tree lighting ceremony today. Yay, it was fun! Free hot chocolate and cookies. And there was a live band playing oldies and Big Band era music. They had a guy dressed as Santa who came in on a fire truck. He sang a song before posing with hundreds of kiddies for photos. He was quite a crooner, actually. I was impressed. But I felt bad for him because his beard looked unstable, and he seemed really warm in his outfit. I don't think the belly was real, so it must've been absurdly hot in there. It was nice being in a happy crowd like that. I love this time of year.

No more tables

The site is now table-free. Yay! There was much rejoicing! :-D

New Library

My city's new library opened today. Beautiful, shiny building. Plenty of parking, although I don't see why that'd even be necessary considering it's only about a 3 minute walk away. There was a bit of a line for getting cards, but it was worth the wait. I intend to go there often. Life is good.

Tweaked my site design a bit which is why I'm bothering to post such a lame blog entry. The design is extremely, ridiculously simple. I'm keeping it that way because I don't want to have to revamp it again too often.
